The American Legion, Department of Texas, 20th District is offering Department Legion College training on September 19th and 20th at Post 828, 3415 Martin L. King Drive, San Antonio, TX 78132.

Phase 1 – covers Public Relations, Legislative Priorities, a Manual of Ceremonies Overview, Post Americanism Programs, the Children and Youth Pillar, and Committees & Affiliated Organizations. The prerequisite for Phase 1 is presenting your Legion Basic Training certificate during check-in.
Phase 2 – covers the Consolidated Post Report, Finance and Administration, How to Conduct a Meeting, Writing a Resolution, and Leadership. The prerequisite for Phase 2 is presenting your Phase 1 certificate during check-in or participating in Phase 1 the preceding day.
Phase 3 – covers Parliamentary Procedures, Membership, Introduction to the District Level, Leadership Education, and Train the Trainer. The prerequisite for Phase 3 is presenting your Phase 1 and 2 certificates during check-in or participating in Phases 1 and 2 the preceding days.
