Legion Family Members,
We are aware of scammers sending out emails in the State Commander’s name.
These emails are fake and a scam!
The American Legion, Department of Texas, or the State Commander, or any other Department Officer will NOT reach out to any member by email requesting any form of assistance or money.
If we send out an email for fundraising it will come from our authorized vendors and will have the proper format, and we will post on the Department website that is being sent from the Department.
