Attention Everyone!
We received notice today from the Renaissance Hotel that we will no longer be required to conduct social distancing and temperature checks. The wearing of face mask is optional in all public spaces, but is recommend that wear in a public space. We will be resuming 100% seating capacities in all meeting rooms.
Please remember that your participation or attendance to the Department Convention is strictly voluntary and the possibility of exposure to COVID 19 or other infectious disease does still exist even for those who are currently vaccination for COVID 19.
We ask that you continue to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID 19 and if you contract or are exposed to COVID 19 within 14 days of attending the Department Convention to please stay home. The hotel is still waiving the housing cancellation fee for those who have to cancel due to contracting or exposure to COVID 19 up to and including the day of check in to the hotel.
